The four year term of the current Parish Council ends on 4 May 2023, and elections will be held on that day for the whole Parish Council as well as for Cheshire East.
Nominations for parish councillor positions will open on Thursday 16 March, and the deadline for delivery of nomination papers to Cheshire East Council is 4.00 pm on Tuesday 4 April 2023.
Nomination forms must be delivered by hand to Cheshire East Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ by the deadline – Cheshire East ask that any such deliveries be made between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm by appointment – though as mentioned the deadline is 4.00 pm on the final day.
When the form is delivered it will be checked on arrival by CEC Elections staff and will be rejected if incorrect or insufficient information is provided.
