REPORT TO PICKMERE PARISH COUNCIL

AGENDA ITEM 8.3 EXPENDITURE FROM THE COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY
1 REPORT
1.1 A condition of receipt of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) payments is that an annual report
be presented to Council noting how the funds have been used. The report has to be copied to
(in Pickmere’s case) CEC by 31 December. Council has a period of 5 years from receipt to spend
such funds.
1.2 A total of £15467.91 CIL has been received by the Parish Council, during the last two financial
years. In accordance with Council decisions, these funds have been spent or earmarked as
follows:
 £1448.30 – 50% payment for replacement Council noticeboards
 £886.70 – purchase of replacement external doors for the Pavilion (part)
 £717.00 – purchase and installation of lamp standard at the IROS
 £500.00 – installation of bollards at the IROS
 Total expenditure to date £3552.00
 £3000 – earmarked for expenditure on preparation of Neighbourhood Plan
 £3000 – earmarked for investment in refurbishment of Clover Drive Play Area
 £4000 – earmarked for Enhancement of Parish Council property assets
 £1915.91 – yet unallocated
 Amount yet unspent £11915.91
2. RECOMMENDATION
2.1 That the report be noted and a copy be sent to CEC.
