HS2 – Your last chance to object!

HS2 going through this parish – your last chance to object!

The Draft Hybrid Bill for the construction of the Crewe to Manchester section of HS2 has now been placed before Parliament.  The route runs through Pickmere Parish and our residents will be badly affected not only by the operation of the final scheme, but also and perhaps worse by the enormous construction works that will be taking place in the next few years if Government approves the final scheme.

If you want to object to the project you need to do so quickly – this is your last opportunity!  Any objections to the scheme as a whole need to be sent to our MP – Esther McVey MP – as soon as possible.

Objections to the details of the scheme need to be sent elsewhere, but also in the coming weeks.

The documents relating to the scheme can be found online but can also be inspected at Knutsford Library.

If you need any information about the consultation process, please email the Parish Clerk at clerk@pickmereparishcouncil.gov.uk

or telephone him on 01565 734618.
