At last night’s Parish Council meeting, the resignation of Cllr Helen Shaul from the Council was noted. Helen has moved out of the parish. The Council wished her well and thanked her for her contribution to the Council and to the parish, especially in terms of her pursuance of environmental issues. At the same meeting, Cllr Andrew Shore stepped down from his position as Chairperson, and Cllr Simon Read was elected as the new Chair. The Council expressed its thanks to Cllr Shore for his many qualities as Chair, among other things his skills, integrity and conscientiousness, and also his strategic thinking and vision for the parish. Cllr Shore remains a member of the Parish Council.
