Residents will have noticed the erection of two new signs on Jacob’s Way as you enter the Parish Council land. These signs simply consolidate existing Council policies with regard to the use and enjoyment of the land and add some additional advice about the possibility of toxic blue-green algae, and also the risk of walking under substantial trees especially in times of high winds.
In erecting these two signs a number of uncoordinated and in some cases inaccurate signs have been removed from the gates and verges in the locality, and so it is hoped that they help tidy up the approach to the lake.
