AGENDA ITEM 5.2 MEMBERSHIP OF OUTSIDE BODIES AND ASSOCIATIONS

1 Report

1.1 The Parish Council is a member of the following groups and associations:

• Cheshire Association of Local Councils (ChALC) and thereby the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) (Annual subscription £236.06 – paid April 2023)
• Cheshire Community Buildings Network (Ann. Sub. £40)
• Cheshire Community Action (Ann. Sub. £20)
• Campaign to Protect Rural England (Ann. Sub. £36 – paid October 2022)

1.2 In addition, your Council is responsible for the subscriptions for your Clerk’s membership of:

• Society of Local Council Clerks (2022 Ann. Sub. £96)
• Association of Local Council Clerks (2020 Ann. Sub. £30)

2 Recommendation

2.1 That the report be noted and authorisation be given for continuing subscription payments to the above bodies for the ensuing year.
