The Council is proceeding with the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan for the parish. Cheshire East Council has formally confirmed the designation of the Pickmere Neighbourhood Area – that is the area that will be the subject of the Plan. The designation document can be found at this link.
The plan was launched at two events in March 2022.
Following the recent initial survey of residents in the parish, the survey details have been analysed and summaries presented at the two launches with feedback noted. The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group are considering how to proceed at the present time.
The Steering Group comprises the following four parish councillors and four local residents, although one residents’ space is currently vacant:
