AGENDA ITEM 9.1 DRAFT STRATEGIC VISION FOR THE COUNCIL
1 REPORT OF CHAIR
1.1 The newly elected Pickmere Parish Council has limited time and resources. It is therefore important that the broad vision and aspirations of the residents of Pickmere are documented in a Strategy Document. The document will list the aims and objectives of the parish council and provides the policy framework within which the elected members take decisions and the clerk conduct their day-to-day work.
1.2 A draft document has been drafted (SEE APPENDIX) for discussion entitled Strategic vision 2023-2027 which covers areas of focus for the 4 years term of the current council
2 RECOMMENDATION
2.1 That Council agrees that the DRAFT Strategic vision 2023-2027 is circulated to the residents for comment and an updated draft brought back to Council for approval and Publication on the PPC website.
