AGENDA ITEM 9.1 POTENTIAL CO-OPTION OF 8th COUNCILLOR
1. REPORT
1.1 Following Council’s decision at its February meeting to seek co-option of an 8th councillor, notices were put on the noticeboards, on the website and on the Council’s Facebook page, but at the time of writing only one enquiry has been received, that from a current parish resident who has not been a resident of the parish for sufficient time to qualify for election.
1.2 The Clerk will update Council orally as to whether any application has been received by the deadline of 28th February.
2. RECOMMENDATION
2.1 That Council notes the report and considers any further action.
